Some mobs, while not necessarily [[aggressive]], may attack you if they notice you attacking their fellow mobs, or they may attack eachother if you attack one of them.<br>
This sometimes depends on your [[alignment]]. If a mob assists at all, a good mob will usually assist against you if you are evil or against the mob you're attacking if your alignment is higher. This goes vice versa for evil mobs.<br>
