A flat, curved shard of stone sits here.

The shard of rock resembles a fan, being shaped like a flat semicircle with a bulbous knob on its straight edge, making a convenient handle. The curved edge is razor sharp, and the shard is so flat and winglike that it seems like it could take flight in the wind. For some reason, the stone always stays warm to the touch.
